Poor man's hellcat intake mod

    I did my poor mans version of the hellcat intake mod. I cut a hole in that flap to get more fresh air around the radiator. It seemed to work. In this weather my IAT was 5-7 degrees above ambient temperature now I'm about 3-4.

    Nice. Just cut outs? I thought there were some plastic tubes that went in with it, or am I not seeing them?

    He just cut holes. In my thread you can see the tube on drivers side only that goes back to the air box

    So is he planning on adding the tubes or just leaving the holes? I did see what you did on your thread. Looks good.

    @LB3711 will have to answer that, but there is only 1 tube for the drivers side, so the other side unless he custom fabs something yes he will be just leaving the hole lol

    no tubes. Don't need them. I got the same results with the holes only. I get much fresher air with the open holes. Heat soak is a bitch on our cars
