Yesterday I got to remove white road stripe paint from the side of the Charger.

Coming home through El Paso on Saturday, the freeway was bumper to bumper, all 4 lanes on IH-10 were packed.

I thought this was strange for a Saturday, and as we inched along, I told the wife that there must be construction or a wreck.
Eventually, I saw everyone getting moving to the two right lanes and I got over as far as I could.
Then I saw the trucks with the flashing yellow arrows blocking the left 2 lanes.

No signs about what was being done ahead. I figured some kind of construction or road sweeping.

It was not until we were there, that I saw them spraying new lane stripes and the white paint overspray and by that time we were trapped. I got by as quick as I could. I stopped for gas and checked the car and I thought we were OK.

Turns out when I washed the car yesterday, the dirt/dust was hiding the white specks of paint.
Lucky for them the paint didn't really stick to the clearcoat (or the Xzylon paint protection) and it came off fairly easily.

I could already envision my wife going up against the city of El Paso. - God help them. lol.

that's good that it came off easily. I once ran over freshly painted yellow lines with my 2011 ram. it was all over the well well liner, the fender flares and the nerf bar on the drivers side. It took me quite some time to get it off. I wasn't too thrilled

    I bet.

I still have some inside the well liner, but that I can work on today after the oil change.

Green and purple is always a sick combo. 850's are also awesome, I love mine.

I did my second oil change since having the car and sent a sample to Blackstone Labs. (Royal Purple w/ Purolator BOSS filter, about 4000 miles)

I got 850’s on the rear but haven’t been able to really test them out yet because it’s now winter and no tire gets good traction when it’s real cold.

My car gets its second oil change in a month and a half and it will only have about 4000 miles total on it lol. I’m just changing every 6 months so fca can’t deny any warranty work.
