Tapping off the back speakers is easy in theory till you start taking things apart and see how hard /awkward it Is to reach the speaker wire...and like I said before there is no slack. I see having to take the whole rear deck cover off in the truck and then laying in the trunk. Trying to work from the back seat will be frustrating to say the least
i already pulled that back deck piece off. Its plastic buttons and magnetic catches. Off it comes LOL
I've read a lot of good reviews on it and for 70 bucks tops it's worth a try since I already have the sub, amp, and all the other wiring I need.
I pulled half of it down just to see what I would be getting into...why the hell did you already pull it down?
curious. From a youtube video I watched. Found out that there is a 2nd dual voice coil sub on the rear deck. But only 1 coil is hooked up. So I have 2
There is an indentation in my rear deck for a sub but it is definitely not there. Jim's car has a sub I'm pretty sure it is in the rear deck. I think you will be surprised at what the stereo in my car sounds like
It's a little different for sure but definitely in the rear deck. I looked in the trunk and no sub there. Unless he had the bass turned most of the way down my stereo sounded better than his...and this stereo definitely sounds better than the one in the dart with the free air sub
