My charger has the halogen projectors. What are my options for better light output without breaking the bank. HID? LED?

I did a HID drop in kit on my Ram 1500 with the projectors and that made a huge difference.

I d say hids. Leds I don't think are good enough for actual usable light.

I'm sure JJ can give a better answer.

The new Cherokee halogen suck just as bad as my ram halogen did. My cars Hids are all much better. I'm sure going retro will be next level. I need to get back to jess' s lighting level.

So with hids what are we looking at? A huge harness with multiple resistors? Or is it a simple Insttall with canbus adapters?

And yes on my ram I didn't see the light output any better on the halogen projector than I did on the quad projector. Cars seem to be a little better but that could be because everything is closer to the ground

I can't answer that. Chargers are way different than my ram was. Need JJ to get in here to inform you.

    So here's the beef......

As of this writing......LED just isn't "there" yet. Diode is working on their SL1 bulbs....(about 2 years in the making) - and those are going to be what I will recommend for LED once released. I'm a HID junky though......so getting me to recommend LED will be a bit tough - but if they are at least CLOSE to HID output, I'm game ;)

As for HIDs at this point, we have kits for these that will work great. No harness, no resistors, etc. Hylux ballasts, Diode antiflicker and Morimoto bulbs. Done! In fact....the same setup you have in your truck Butch. ;)

They are a bit more friendly.......

Some Rams are ok with the setup, some aren't.......15+ is hit or miss, but on the Chargers....doesn't seem to be an issue.

My ram seems to be very friendly...i have no harness. Just the diode dynamics canbus adapters/anti flicker modules

im glad I have HIDs stock. With the way this car is I would not want to try HID upgrade at all. HIDs was #1 option I needed to have or no sale. New setup right now is enough of a headache
