We have had our Ram 1500 since 2012. We just bought our '17 Scat Pack a couple of weeks ago. Love the "magic eyeball" (Technology Group).
Thanks, Not much planned int he way of mods, these are pretty well equipped compared to my Ram 1500. My wife had a tint done, installed weathertech floor and trunk liners, and wants a catch can like we have on the truck. I was unhappy about no spare tire (just the tire repair kit), So I ordered and installed a doughnut from performancespare.com.
I read in your other post that the wife's requirement was that it had a hemi....did you show her the scat pack and say this is the only hemi...I swear honey....lol Good idea on the Spare tire
Actually no. she was looking at 3 cars. 1) GoMango Daytona 340 2) White Daytona 392 3) Scat Pack I have them listed in the order of her preference at the end of day 1. I was surprised that she liked the GoMango color - because it's a bit loud. I tried not to influence her because I did not want her a year or so from now to be able to say... "I chose the one I thought you really wanted." I explained to her what the "Scat Pack" originally was and what it meant. She looked it up online that night and educated herself. Next day we went back, she drove the 5.7, drove the 6.4, I saw the grin on her face, and knew that was the car she wanted. I was actually secretly rooting for the white/black daytona, but in the end she told me she did not really like the vinyl graphics, plus she thought it looked like she supported the "Empire" lol ETA: The Scat was the only one of the three with the Technology Group, which she did not care about, but I liked. Now it's one of her favorite things about the car.
I have a great wife. Hopefully, she will let me drive her car. She did ask for a catch can, she empties the one on the 1500 regularly and sees how much gunk it catches.
