Probably a lot less than you might think. I do not live in a McMansion.

But the single pane aluminum windows installed in 1969 had to go.

ETA: My wife was shocked at how fast and quiet it was to remove the old windows.
They used a blowtorch to heat up the seals and pulled them right out.
Her first thought was, anyone could do that and we would probably sleep right through it.

and FYI, I am still not seeing any kind of recall on our Charger.

Well, still no notice of any recall on our charger.

I'm wondering if maybe there are different manufacturers of the cruise control units and only 1 manufacturer is affected, or something like that.

Oh, I'm old so what the hell, we replaced every window unit on the house (12) and the sliding patio door for way less than the cost of the charger. <$10k (1/4 the cost of the charger)

We went from single pane, single hung, aluminum, non-safety glass to double hung, double strength glass, low e, double pane insulated vinyl windows.
My wife reports that the house is WAY quiet now.

Got the oil changed today, no mention of the recall from the dealer.
