The parts for the next modification on the Hellcat are starting to roll in! Yup......getting LOW! Baggin' the thing So........whats in the box? Errrrr.......here's a list of everything coming for the car. From AirLift Performance: - 3P Management System - 2x Viair 444c compressors - Secondary compressor wiring harness Coming from Universal Air: - 2x Spun aluminum 18" air tanks - Full airbag kit for the 11+ Chargers with factory bilstiens (keeps the stock dampening system) Coming from Simple Tire - 4x Atturo AZ850 275/40/20 tires. Not really "needed" right now, but I'd rather start with everything fresh - and......the tires are "cheap". A local shop will be handling the install on this one. It gets dropped off on 9/12 ...... should have it back by the 16th to take to shows! When all said and done, it will look like this (minus wheels), when aired out. Obviously it will still ride at stock height, and being bagged is truly for show purposes only. So......yup, gonna ruin this bitch. LOL EDIT - completed pics here - https://www.chargerforum.net/threads/lowkat.94/page-3#post-2186
It will be over 3 months old by the time this is done...... And nope.....why wait? Lets have some fun!
When all the way down does it just tilt the wheels in for clearance or are your wheels always tucked in further?
It uses the stock bilstiens....so the adjustability is still there, and......you remove a spring and ride on air, yeah.....everyone I talked to with a bagged car say they ride amazing. 3 years ago I was in TX and rode in a bagged truck.......it........well, was amazing!
I always figured airbags where better for suspension handling as in turns. So I think your doing the cool thing, and right thing.
