    Yeah, I hate buying cars. :/

    Glad we are pretty much done with that.

    We are old.
    The Scat is the last "new", new car we plan to buy.

    My wife is on me about buying a newer truck for retirement,
    but I just can't give up my console shifter for that little dial on the dash thingy....

    Sorry, but it just seems wrong on so many levels... :)

    lol, the dial shifter is not all that bad. It was awkward at first but it becomes 2nd nature. I've found that if I drive the truck a couple days in a row I end up reaching to the dash to put it in drive or reverse in the car lol

    Last vehicle I owned with a dash shifter was a 1965 Corvair.

    As my wife has noticed, I rest my hand on the shifter, just feels right.
