not looking forward to having to install them. My new car came from a different lot than the dealer I go through so they didn’t have time to install these pedals. The gas one looks real easy but I have read that the brake one is a real pita.

From the back it shows why the gas pedal is so easy. Looks like it’s just plastic clips. The brake pedal that rubber has to go around the whole brake pedal (I think). Almost looks like the instructions say to remove part of the brake pedal and throw it away. Either way that rubber in the picture is thick and not very easy to flex get it to flex.

Ive done this before on previous cars, the soaking the brake pedal in HOT water to to make the rubber flexible is def needed. I normal soak it for about 10mins

Sometimes there is still a extra piece of rubber still in the pedal that needs to be pitched. Like from where they cut out the square, the left over square

2 little stubby flathead screwdrivers help a lot too putting on the brake pedal. And your right it is a huge PITA :biggun:

So if there isn’t a pice of rubber just laying loose in the new pedal I’m good to go?

I’m going to hold off a little longer then to install them because 2 weekends ago I nearly cut a third of my left hand pointer finger off dicing green peppers and it hasn’t fully healed yet lol
