    Hey guys. Just got my first Charger, 2016 SXT. I love it! I am pretty happy with the power it has, but have been looking into improving HP and fuel economy. I have done research on performance chips, but have found that a lot of them are scam chips or are way over priced. Anybody have any recommendations of chips that will actually work, and won't hurt my car??

    Welcome. Yes generally those chips are a sham. What you would want is a tuner but I believe the options are limited for the V6

    Thanks for the reply. Do you know any reputable companies for tuners?? There are so many on the market.

    Diablo is reputable but not sure if they support the v6 yet or at all. Hp tuners is popular also

    Thanks quietpeen. I am pretty nervous about trusting reviews of any devices like chips or tuners. I have read multiple reviews on devices that say they are good products, but then find out that they are scams. Crazy stuff!!

    Douglas, I have the V6 SXT Plus and I am in the same boat as you as far as what I can do to get more power, etc. out of.will try to keep you informed on what I find out. there is a tuner in Clearwater, Florida not far from me that I'm going to contact to find out what is offered for the V6. Mine has the Super Track Pack as well and I believe it is rated at 300 horsepower where yours is about 292 I believe. I installed a K&N air filter and that livened it up a bit.

    i was waiting for someone to say that lol

    However even people that buy the V8's are immediately looking to do performance upgrades.....so then they get....buy a hellcat
