My car is 3.5" to the bottom of the pipe off the cat and about 4" to the side skirt. The dealer lifts mine. Except when i swap wheels and pull the front end off.
Bought the same ramps several years ago with the 10 inch lift front blocks. They perform as advertised, no misconceptions at all. The best part is you can add additional pieces as needed to get the full set to lift car completely all 4 wheels for any underbody work required. wish I had them 30 years ago.
Yes it would, next best thing to actual 2 or 4 post lift if you have the ceiling height. Race Ramps are amazing, light weight, easily stored, and virtually indestructible. I bought them shortly after getting my Bee, got tired of using bricks and wood to elevate front end high enough to get onto steel ramps pain in the A _ _ . The same material is also used to make Basement wall blocks that are then fitted with rebar and filled with cement, for poured cement basement walls, and are left in place to aide in insulating the basement. strong material indeed.
Speaking of that type of wall construction. My boss just used this to build his house. He went all the way up to the roof with it. His house is where I would want to be if there is a tornado. https://www.amvicsystem.com/3.30
That 's the product, if he went up to roof line I would say it should stand up to old twister. Did he save much $$$ by using this method as opposed to block construction or was it just a matter of preference. I think I would go this route if I were building a new garage or shop
