There is a software update available for the Uconnect which was released 08/09. http://www.driveuconnect.ca/support/system_updates.html ETA: I cannot find any information about what issues it is supposed to fix. I am downloading it now, it is an 8.6GB file and their server is not very fast, or else very busy because it is not downloading very quickly.
When I got my car I downloaded an update but never installed it because I didn't have a thumb drive big enough. Might have to buy one since there is now a new update
No, I am currently working in the Chicago area, and the car is at home in Texas. Besides, I really want to wait to see what people have to say about it.
That is what I would like to know. I see people on the WWW saying they did it, but not much about what it added/deleted or fixed. So far what I have read: 1) the update resets everything, puts it back to like it was from the factory. 2) when playing bluetooth, then plugging your phone in it switches to car play, unplugging your phone it does not automatically resume bluetooth play. - but this may be a feature that was turned off by the update and can be turned back on. 3) If your radio is off, it no longer turns on when you put the car in reverse. - again, this may be an option that can be turned on or off through settings.
i just checked my vin and now it shows two updates. the one I downloaded previously and this one. I wonder if I have to install both or if the new one performs both updates
ill have to check mine. I need to check with dodge if my radio is fully active. #3 is annoying and glad to fix that. Also the stupid weather warning crap
OK, one thing i found out today.....the previous one I downloaded which was REV D was a radio update, and this new one REV E is a NAV update. So if you don't have NAV don't even bother (especially if everything is working well) also REV E does not supersede REV D so means that have be both be installed in order
