Checked my air filter today and there was water hanging out at the bottom of the box. It seems to have gotten in through the tube that goes under the car. I can't imagine this is normal?

Half of the filter was also wet/stained on the bottom. IMG_20180411_143543.jpg

I can’t imagine that is considered normal either. I would clean it up and get everything dry with a new air filter and keep an eye on it. Has it been raining a lot lately?

As far as I can tell it's water, there's also debris like leaves and stuff. I'm gonna take it to the dealer and let them figure it out.

It's rained but it's not like I drove through a flood.

They said it was oil from when the last oil change was done, I guess they missed a little and it ran down the hose into the box. I feel better now, at least I know I'm not risking a hydrolock.
