New to forums

[Shaggy]

I've PM'ed a few people about it. I don't want to be "that guy" and start posting links in the other forum. The only thing the other place has going for it is more regular traffic, but the large number of ads and the attitude of letting a specific vendor constantly aggressively sell in the user forums has just gotten out of hand.

Best,

Which for we talking about? Z, or Talk?

Either way, I am glad you found your way here and I hope you can bring some of the better members from the "other forum" here to.

I'm pretty sure he is talking about the red forum.

Basically for the same reason I stopped going there.
Very aggressive vendor pushing his products to the point of being tedious.
Quickly brings a lot of threads to an end.

enough about that other forum We have seen your future plans, but are there any mods you've already done worth noting?

Nah, I haven't done anything to it yet. The original Pirelli tires are just about down to the wear bars at 17k miles. About 6 months ago, I changed jobs and that transition has been consuming most of my spare time. So....tires will be the first order of business. I need to get some 10.5" Hellcat reps for the back so I can go with 315's there and match my existing forged wheels that came with the dynamics package. Then I've got to decide if I want to deal with stroking the engine or just paying someone else to do it. I'll probably do the supercharger myself since that's not particularly hard. I also don't like the 2 piece drive shaft. So that'll go and get replaced by a single aluminum shaft. So much to do. Hoping to get the output to approximately 700hp at the crank by the time I'm done. I'll take lots of pictures.

Best,

are you worried about the transmission at that HP? And 700 at the crank will put you a little over 600 at the wheels right?

LOVE The staggerred look on these cars with 315's on the rear.

If I was going to race the car, I'd be very worried. It's just going to be my daily driver and get the occasional highway romp. If I end up breaking it, I'll get the 8HP70 rebuilt a bit more stout or see what's involved to upgrade to the 8HP90 that's in the Hellcats.

Edit: Yes, I'm looking for 600-620hp at the wheels.

and here I was just happy to get to Vegas and back without incident......
